Dr Nikita Patel has so far had a solid career, having practiced in various units where she has performed general dentistry, and oral and maxillofacial surgery. She has known from a very early stage in her profession that the complexity of gum disease has been of great fascination, knowing that Periodontology is an area she wanted to pursue. She has therefore undertaken full-time specialist training at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute in London, which is affiliated with the European Federation in Periodontology.
Her clinical activity focuses on the treatment of advanced gum disease using non-surgical and complex, surgical approaches. In addition to this, she also provides aesthetic surgical procedures to correct gum recession. She is extremely passionate about helping patients overcome dental anxiety and making them feel at ease, whilst providing the highest quality of care.
As part of the team at Square Mile, Dr Patel specialises in a range of services, including: comprehensive consultations that involve taking x-rays, writing reports, suggested treatment plans, and cost estimations, non-surgical and surgical gum therapy around teeth and dental implants, surgical therapy including bone regeneration procedures, gum recession procedures, crown lengthening and gum and dental implant maintenance.
These treatments are often found to be an effective solution for common complaints such as: bleeding and painful gums, gaps in the front teeth getting wider, bad breath and loose teeth.
